EAST AFRICA

East Africa brings together photographs made in Kenya, mainland Tanzania, and Zanzibar. The images emerge from encounters with people and places, attending to presence, gesture, and the social life of everyday spaces. Rather than attempting to describe a region in full, the series remains with particular moments of recognition—instances of seeing, being seen, and briefly being with others.
